| Dear skating friends |
 On
behalf of the Norwegian Skating Federation it is a great pleasure to
welcome you all to the European Allround Speedskating Championships
2010 in Hamar.
Hamar has long traditions in organizing international speed skating
championships, and last year we arranged successful World Allround
Championships here in Vikingskipet. The last time the European
Allround Speedskating Championships were hosted here was in 2006.
We have an organizing committee with strong competence and
significant experience. I am confident that we will host successful
championships, with equal opportunity for the skaters and a pleasant
atmosphere for us all.
The Norwegian Skating Federation is privileged to once again have
the opportunity to invite the best European skaters to Vikingskipet
and we look forward to seeing the exciting duels on the ice.
I wish all skaters, coaches, team leaders, referees, organizing
committee members and staff, press and spectators the best of luck
in the 2010 European Allround Speedskating Championships. I hope you
all will have an enjoyable time in Hamar and Vikingskipet.

| Welcome to Hamar |
 On
behalf of the Organising Committee, I welcome skaters, team leaders,
trainers, support staff, the volunteers and all the spectators to
Hamar and Vikingskipet on the occasion of the Essent ISU European
Speed Skating Championships for men and ladies 2010.
We have done our outmost through the preparation period to provide
good and equal conditions for all skaters. We look forward to
exciting races and excellent results.
We hope that an enthusiastic audience, music and other kinds of
entertainment will create a great atmosphere and contribute to a
memorable experience in Vikingskipet this weekend.
Once again – welcome – and good luck – and may the best skaters end
up as winners!
